The Cosmos Hotel is a gargantuan 25-storey construction a few metro stops north of the city center. Situated next to the VDNKh metro station and the All-Russia Exhibition Center, and opposite the impressive Soviet Space Obelisk monument, the Cosmos - which could admittedly do with a sprucing up - provides reasonably priced, basic accommodation, the standard set of amenities and decent service. Dining options are numerous, with Russian cuisine and the spicier flavors of Georgian cooking also on the menu.
